Surface(Basic)

Weight

Weight=1, Weight=2

The settings for the flags on the left and right are the same except for the Weight parameter. Notice that the flag with a weight of 2 hangs down more and does not flap as much as the other flag.

weight+- (Randomize)

Weight+-=0, Weight+-=1

Randomizes the weight parameter to create more realistic-looking variations on the surface.

Spring

Spring=1000, Spring=10000

The settings for the flags on the left and right are the same except for the Spring parameter. An extremely large spring force on the right-side flag makes its cloth appear stiffer. Since the Weight remains unchanged, the flag must be made with a lighter yet more rigid material.

Resistance

Resistance=1, Resistance=2

The settings on the flags on the left and right are the same except for the Resistance parameter. Notice that the flag with a Resistance of 2 is stretched due to its greater air resistance.

Viscosity

Viscosity=1, Viscosity=20

The conditions of the balls on the left and right are the same except for the Viscosity parameter. The motion of the ball with a Viscosity value of 20 is of a ball made with clay rather than rubber since the bouncing force is absorbed by the viscosity.

Viscosity=1,Viscosity=10

The conditions of the two pieces of cloth on the left and right are the same except for the Viscosity parameter. This animation depicts a purple ball pushing a piece of blue cloth upward. The shape of the one with a Viscosity value of 10 is kept intact by the viscosity and changes slowly.
